Nicole Zmuda, PhD LCSW

Dr. Nicole Zmuda is an assistant professor of social work at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. She earned her MEd and her PhD in Human Sexuality from the Center for Human Sexuality Studies at Widener University. She also completed the Master of Social Work program at Marywood University, and is a licensed clinical social worker in Pennsylvania with over 15 years of experience in substance use disorder treatment and behavioral healthcare. Dr. Zmuda has facilitated trainings for local treatment providers and presented at various state and national conferences. Recently, she was appointed Director of Education and Advocacy for the NEPA Pride Coalition, Inc., and has used that platform to advance LGBTQIA+ inclusion efforts in northeastern Pennsylvania.
